Rustie has been around for a long time and her celebrity has
never gone to her head. She is a genuine person who gives
without asking for ''returns''. She helps many charities and
she is multi talented. Rustie is a very positive person, a
good role model and is always very funny - just watch her
on Celebdaq on BBC 2 & 3

Many of the profiles are of entertainers, faces that we have
seen before the camera. Pogus represents the future of programme
making as well as the past, and is a role model for those young
black entrepeneurs, who need a role model within the entertainment
industry behind the camera. Pogus has also created a great platform
recently named Film 360- designed to raise the profiles of new,
up and coming film makers - without prejudice of style or content.
Pogus we salute you!!! |

Her dedication, determination and raw natural talent - combined
with that extra "something special" which results in a genuinely
world class athlete. Stars of this quality are few and far between. |

He has contributed to many areas, not just commercial, but cultural,
community and educational too, including trying to help people
achieve. He deserves recognition for his 'behind the scenes
influence' as well as for being an artist and film-maker in
his own right. |

Daniel is someone who I remember racing as a youngster back
in the late 80's. I am now living in the states and i am pleased
to see his progression. He had a lot of love for competative
racing when we were 10 & 11 years old . He is very deserving
of the award. |

- Lenny Henry
I choose Lenny Henry because of the work he has done in the
midlands and all over the world. I am a huge admirer of the
work he has done for Comic relief and think that this amn should
be commended to the ends of the earth. Compiled with the amount
of entertainment that Lenny Henry has provided throughout the
years, he truly deserves the title. He has put dudley on the
map. HE is my HERO |

Peple need to remember that Pogus was the 1st chair of B'ham
film festival, he went to work at Central tv and worked hard
until he was making all the multicultural shows for Carlton
tv. pogus has contributed so much to the arts in the midlands
over the years, but thats to be expected from someone who called
his company Windrush productions. |
