The tour kicked off in Victoria Square, Birmingham on Saturday 7 September.

The central feature of the roadshow is Nick Owen’s Chair - I know it sounds strange - but read on and all will become clear!

Nick Owen's chair
Could you fill this chair?

You’ll be invited to sit in Nick’s chair and be filmed as you 'Have Your Say' about news and issues from where you live.

The best news stories will be followed up and featured either on BBC Midlands Today, on BBC Local Radio or on the website.

One of BBC Midlands Today’s main presenters will be at each venue along with presenters from the BBC Local Radio stations - in Birmingham it will be a presenter from BBC WM.

"The 'Have Your Say' tour is a fun idea promoting the fact we’re keen to hear what news stories our viewers have strong views about, or what issues they want talked about on air," says Charles Watkin, Output Editor.

"The tour stops off at some of the busiest towns and cities in our editorial area and we’re really looking forward to meeting as many people as possible."
