The road surface is being renewed on the M6 and A38(M) north of Birmingham this summer to get rid of potholes and to stop new ones forming.

A Highways Agency spokesman said the improvements will cause congestion and drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.

Add your comment here Why no access at all at Junction 5 M6 to A38 to Birmingham due to road works, surely a single lane could have been left open. Fuel wasted in traffic costs me money and adds to carbon emissions

KGB
Please advise; Motorway closing signs are confusing, they say that exit and entry to junc 6 will be closing at 10pm 2nd July until November 06. Is this night only until 6am or are they closed day & night? If day & night, I am not looking forward to the summer parking.
