The
road surface is being renewed on the M6 and A38(M) north of Birmingham
this summer to get rid of potholes and to stop new ones forming.
A Highways
Agency spokesman said the improvements will cause congestion and
drivers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.

Why no access at all at Junction 5 M6 to A38 to Birmingham due to road works, surely a single lane could have been left open. Fuel wasted in traffic costs me money and adds to carbon emissions

Please advise; Motorway closing signs are confusing, they say that exit and entry to junc 6 will be closing at 10pm 2nd July until November 06. Is this night only until 6am or are they closed day & night? If day & night, I am not looking forward to the summer parking.
