In
a nutshell AIESEC is the largest student organisation in the world,
with an active presence at 23 universities in the UK!
We encourage cultural understanding through an exchange of students
from around the world, organising global work placements, as well
as promoting corporate social responsibility in firms.
Not your average student society
It's certainly not one of your run of the mill student societies.
As well as knowing that you are working for a good cause, you gain
transferable skills through marketing AIESEC, contacting companies,
attending meetings with companies, attending network events, organising
conferences and organising a Careers Fair.
You are also given the opportunities to attend conferences or work
abroad.
I've
been a member of AIESEC for two years and this year my role is as
one of the Careers Day Organisers.

AIESEC
arranges the largest on site series of Careers Fairs taking place
at over 15 universities over the UK.
Last year the AIESEC Birmingham Careers Fair was a huge success
with over 40 companies and more than 2000 students attending.
This year we expect more organisations (including some big name
companies) and even more students to attend.
This is one of the largest ranges of companies you'll find at any
Careers Fair in the region.
Win a free flight!
We're also giving you the chance to win one of 10 flights, just
by attending the fair.
The
Careers Fair will be taking place in the Great Hall (Aston Webb
Building), Birmingham University campus. on Thursday 20th November
2003 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and it’s for everyone.
For more information, either visit www.careersfairs.org
or contact me on 0121 472 2726.
See you there!
