Heart
Productions, a professional Theatre company, operates from its West
Midlands base.
Last
year, it brought the tantalising Time After Time to new audiences
in Birmingham. This thought-provoking production explored the inner
mind of our greatest playwright, a night in the dream world of William
Shakespeare, where characters & themes from his real life merged
with those of his plays.
The
ethos of Heart Productions
Heart
Productions is about presenting theatre in a way that touches people
and performers. It's about actors and audience discovering together,
for a few hours, something about what makes us all tick and hopefully,
feel good.

It
operates without public funding, without commercial backing, relying
instead on the commitment and belief of the people involved, the
enthusiasm of the audience, and the release of energy that everyone
brings to the work.
Its
been going for three years now; not a long time, yet we hope it
will be around for a good few more years yet.
Current
production
Romeo
& Juliet For All Time is a specially commissioned new work carrying
on the play by William Shakespeare, starting where the original
finished.
In
it, the two doomed lovers are given one last chance, one last chance
to put right their earlier failings, with the help of the tortured
soul of their 'ghostly father', Friar Laurence.
Romeo
& Juliet For All Time can be seen on its 2004 / 2005 tour. In
Birmingham, Heart Productions present the play at The Crescent Theatre
Studio in Brindleyplace on 30 - 31 July 2004.
