Birmingham
city centre pulsed to the rhythms of Latin America in a weekend
of celebration.
The
city's
Latin American Festival was founded by Peruvian born
Annie Bazan-De-Fisher (of ABS Promotions) 12 years ago.
Salsa
dancers and South American bands, both international and from the
UK, took to the stage in Centenary Square on Saturday 3 July.
Hundreds
of people crowded around the stage and big screens to watch the
bands and try out their own salsa, cha cha and rumba moves!

After
dark on Sunday 4 July, Ipanema on Broad Street was the venue for
the festival celebration party.
The
dancefloor was packed all night as people showed off their sexy
Latin moves or tried out their newly-acquired salsa technique.
