Hina’s
been involved in dance events and festivals almost all her life
- she’s taken part in the Mega Mela, Asian Festivals and Sampad
productions.
She’s also performed many solo dance exhibitions, including recently
at the Royal Show and at Soho House Museum.

She’s
now set up a new dance company Hina and Co - and it’s already proving
a great hit.
Hina has worked with students in some of the first Bollywood adult
education dance classes in Birmingham, as well as teaching privately.
She’s inspired many of the students to join her in taking Asian
dance out to the public during the festival season - hence the new
company Hina and Co.
The aim of the company is to share exciting classic and contemporary
Indian dance with people. Hina’s an inspiring, dynamic performer,
who loves the stage.

The
dancers who are taught by her, all respond to her teaching, and
it shows in the fabulous performances she’s devised and choreographed.
Hina and Co have already been invited to perform at various events
including Artsfest.
After Artsfest, as well as going back to finish her third year at
uni, Hina will be working for three months at the Patric Centre,
teaching Asian dance. At the end of the course she’s hoping the
students will be able to put on a show of their own!
