I cant believe what a total mess pride 2006 was.. the park was a washout drinks cost a fortune there was no atmosphere there at all. on the sunday i got asked ..well shouted at by security where is your pass , while other people just walked in without being stopped. then went to missing and got attitude off the bar staff so all in all id like to thank the organisers for a rotton pride. and to see if i can get my refund for my ticket on a scale of 1 to 10 pride got 2

susanah
was at pride last year n r ready 4 pride 2005 4 a mad wkd

Sue
I didn't go to pride but have just been looking through the gallery and out of all the beautiful photos, the one that really stood out for me was the photo with the placard saying "proud parents". I thought that was so lovely. More parents should follow their example and be proud of their child no matter what their sexual orientation is. It was so refreshing to see.

Congratulations to the gay community for a great pride and a big thank you to Birmingham City Council for all their support.

Came for the whole party from saturday till monday was the best couple of days of me life, its nice to feel happy and proud about yourself without having people discriminating about you for once. It was heaven, the organisers deserve a pat on their backs for this years pride it really was the best pride ever, the only bad thing about it was it had to end which was hell to go back to normal life without the huge consumption of alcohol hehe

kez

Spent Saturday and Sunday all day at Pride (Monday was too tired to even move off the sofa! lol) - had a fantastic time, full of lots of familiar faces and nice to see everybody enjoying themselves. Some fantastic effort put into costumes and I thought that Glamour's outfit was by far the best on the pride parade - go girl! Shame about the weather on Sunday when it was hailing but even still we had a good laugh cramming into the Subway tents to keep dry! Another fantastic year, roll on Walsall Pride on July 25th at the Lion!!!! (another chance to do it all again but on a smaller scale!!) xxxx
