Traders
from Birmingham's twin city in Frankfurt have returned to Brum for
the fourth year in a row.
The Frankfurt Christmas Market features dozens of stalls on New
Street and in Victoria Square,
selling almost anything you can think of.
Reputed
to be the largest German Christmas Market outside Germany and Austria,
it's sure to have something for everyone. You can browse in a range
of stalls, selling everything from handmade crafts, ceramics, glassware,
stationary, clothes and Christmas decorations.
If
you are peckish, then you can tuck into a Bratwurst (sausage) or
if you are feeling adventurous, a Currywurst. You can try many other
delicacies including potato cakes, waffles, plus a range of sweets
and cakes!
To
quench your thirst, there's also a traditional German beer stall.
Or you could try some mulled wine to warm you up.
In
the centre of Victoria Square, a fairground carousel will keep the
kids entertained, and there's a stage that will feature live performances.
