FACTS

ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) is a world-wide confederation of temples, farms, communities and individuals dedicated to living and teaching Vedic culture; through chanting Hare Krishna and Bhakti Yoga, we aim to nurture love of God and return to the spiritual world.

The Hare Krishna religion originates in India

Krishna is a name of the Supreme. It means "all- attractive."

Chanting Hare Krishna is a way of seeking Krishna directly.

The forehead mark is called a tilak. The mark is made with sacred clay from a holy place in India, and it marks the body as a temple.

Hare Krishna Maha-mantra

"Hare Krishna
Hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama
Hare Rama
Rama Rama
Hare Hare."

Meaning:-

"O energy of the Lord,
O Lord please engage me in Your service"
