His
style of music is far from the traditional Christian genre of music.
His brand of Gospel Dancehall/Ragga music, has gained him a legion
of admirers of all ages and from all backgrounds.
The
local artist was a fan of Ragga music before accepting Christ at
the age of 17. By putting the message of Christ into a form of music
usually associated with explicit lyrics, violence and gun talk,
he spreads the word of God.
Everything I write is taken from the bible as a result of study
and prayer. |

Witness |
Since
1997, Witness has been showcasing his talents in schools across
Birmingham, which has renewed his desire to motivate people of all
ages - believers or not.
"I
want to bring the message to all people and not need them to convert
to my culture to understand it. No-one is being left out. No-one
is too young or too old for my music, whether the listeners are
saved or not, I have songs for all people. Songs of encouragement,
songs of warning and songs of humour."

The
Witness is forever keen to assert that he is not a performer but
a minister. "I use performance to bring the message of Christ
across, which is the most important thing.
When
you want to catch fish you have to use something to entice them.
Winning souls is just the same." says Witness.

Following
the tragic shootings of Letisha Shakespeare and Charlene Ellis,
in Aston Birmingham, Witness felt the time was right to release
his single 'Ghetto Cry' a powerful song against violence.
He along with local artists Michael Wayne and Spanna re-recorded
the single in light of the increase in gun violence in the area.
Witness and the other singers are hoping the single will get noticed
by a record label and the song will be reproduced and marketed for
a mainstream audience.
All
profits made from the single will go towards community youth development
projects in the city. Read
