Fresh off playing Glastonbury 2009, reggae rockers 360 - all eight of them - played live on BBC WM Introducing. Listen back to their session.

360 describe their music as ska-funk-a-punk-reggae-rock, a unique genre of sound with the goal to make the audience jump, dance and sing.

The Birmingham boys have an impressive resume, having gigged around the West Midlands the last few years and built up a significant following. They've recorded with top producers Gavin Monaghan (Editors, The Twang) and Bob Lamb (Ocean Colour Scene, UB40) and for the second consecutive year, played Glastonbury.

"Glastonbury was absolutely amazing," said vocalist Ross Lydon live on BBC WM Introducing.

"We did Residency there. We played the year before and we had different gigs all over the festival. This year we were on the one stage the Fluffy Rock Café and we were sharing residency with a group from Zimbabwe. It was amazing and all the gigs we did were brilliant.

"The Thursday night we blocked off roads in Glastonbury because all the big bands hadn't started yet and we did a gig and Glastonbury just got rammed. We'd never played a gig like it in our lives actually. Actually we did, five gigs and we did a couple of matinee shows as well. Last year, I lost the vocals after two gigs – the throat just went. But this year we were prepared."

Glastonbury though isn't the only festival 360 have on their bio - they've also enjoyed prominent slots at Shambala, Big Green Gathering, The Vale, Eastern Haze and Beach Blast.

"Beach Blast was really cool," said Ross. "The organisers had a nightmare, had a different change of site. A lot of people cancelled on them. So they moved to Kent with no beach and  still did the festival so hats off to them. There was a beach backstage actually – that was the first time we'd been treated like a first class rock band – a beach, a bar, a place to charge your phone and very posh loos."

Despite their growing popularity across the UK, 360 say there's still one venue they love playing the most, their spiritual home if you will, in back in their hometown:

Thursdays 10pm - midnight on 95.6FM

"It has to be the Adam and Eve, it really does. We did a double weekend last week and we did a gig in London and we've obviously done a few festivals but we came back to the Adam & Eve and had one of the best gigs of the year I thought, just because of the vibe. The atmosphere in there's amazing and Katy who owns the place has always been really good to us. Whenever we go back there the place just erupts and we love it."
