Help playing audio/video ![]() Jenny Jones @ King Charles Primary Back in April, more than 12,500 children from various schools in Birmingham and Black Country were sponsored to sit still for part of a lesson or break. Why? Well that's what children on dialysis have to do for four hours, up to three times a week. It proved so popular with the schools and the kids that BBC WM held 'The Big Sit Still 2' on Wednesday 15th July 2009. Throughout the day, various BBC WM presenters and personalities called in to some of the schools taking part for live inserts into BBC WM programmes. ![]() Joanne Malin @ Yarnfield Primary School Joanne Malin was at Yarnfield Primary School in Tysley during Phil Upton @ Breakfast and then Phil himself popped over to Bordesley Village School during Jo's show. BBC WM's Jenny Jones then headed to King Charles Primary in Bentley and Hillary Primary in Walsall for Ed Doolan and Danny Kelly's programmes, respectively. In addition, Alumwell Junior Walsall and Kings Hill Wednesbury will be holding their own 'Big Sit Still' after the summer holidays.
