On Tuesday 2nd June 2009 BBC WM’s Nikki Tapper and Joe Aldred will be presenting an evening of inspiration at the Birmingham Town Hall, raising money for the BBC WM Kidney Kids Appeal.
Jennifer Wallace from Black Voices
From uplifting Gospel choirs to Jazz and Opera singing the evening will feature a whole host of Birmingham's talented Children’s choirs, artists and musicians.
Special guests on the evening will include Jennifer Wallace from Birmingham’s Black Voices, Jazz singer Carol Brewster, Opera singer Abigail Kelly, Aston Performing Arts Academy’s Young Stars and Inner City Voices and many more...
About BBC WM’s Kidney Kids Appeal
On 14th July 2008 BBC WM embarked on a year long campaign to make a big difference to the lives of children receiving kidney treatment at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The appeal is the biggest campaign the station has run and hopes to raise £1.5 million for a new kidney unit at one of the world's leading children’s hospital opening in October 2009.
With the help of our listeners the Kidney Kids Appeal has already raised an amazing £918k. Read more about the Kidney Kids Appeal below.
