Fierce! The UK's most eclectic live art festival returns from 23 - 26 May 2008 with a special programme that has been chosen by public vote.

Fierce! has a reputation for bringing some of the world's most inventive performance artists to the West Midlands and this year's programme promises to challenge and stimulate audiences from all walks of life.

In the middle of the main festival, 'My Fierce Festival' features nine events that the public selected from short list of almost 30. They will take place between the 23rd and 26th May 2008 in venues as diverse as public squares, theatre, hairdressers and cellars.

In addition to 'My Fierce festival', Fierce! 2008 includes performances from DV8, Motionhouse Dance, Julian Cope, Desperate Optimists and the Pacitti Company, as well as the return of Fierce! star Nicole Blackman with The Courtesan's Tales and Beloved.
