Rock, blues and country music - Liberation Works have arrived! Listen again to their live performance on BBC WM Introducing.
The Midlands four piece have only been together a year but are an accomplished rock 'n' blues act, with a hint of traditional country music and 'Dylan-esque' melodies thrown in for good measure.
Speaking live on BBC WM Introducing, vocalist Jack Clark explained the band's unique style. He said:
"There's too many bands out there that sound exactly the same, you know. We just decided to go with what we liked. Some people might not love it but some people absolutely love it, especially the faster tracks. They soon get up dancing!
"We've all drawn a lot of influences: Mike listens to a lot of blues; Brian listens to a lot of indie; Gaz is very much of a Buddy Holly fan and 50s rock 'n' roll and I'm a Dylan and country fan. I think everything complements itself."

The band are building a loyal following around the unsigned circuit, having performed at established venues like The Varsity and The Little Civic in Wolverhampton and Birmingham's Barfly.
