Help playing audio/video ![]() A Birmingham band with huge potential, Murdoch tore the house down on BBC WM Introducing before packing up their van and heading down to London for a gig a mere 24 hours later. ![]() Murdoch - were at the light switch on The four lads were fresh off performing at Millenium Point for the Christmas lights switch on, an event which drew over 40,000 people throughout the course of the day. Speaking live on BBC WM Introducing, lead singer Jamie Berry said: "The name Murdoch comes from the author Iris Murdoch. We've been together in different formats for years but just the four of us for the last three years." Admitting the feel of playing on the radio is a totally different experience than playing before a live crowd, Jamie said: ![]() Murdoch - live 15th November "It's just as exciting in a different way. You can't visualise your audience, that's the difference. It's a bit more nerve-wracking!" Murdoch played four tracks throughout the course of the show, one of which was brand new.
