Wallace and Gromit are on Great Charles Street! But why? See our snaps and listen to BBC WM's report.

If you're travelling into Birmingham keep an eye out for the cheese loving inventor and his faithful hound.

Poised on a motorbike and side carriage on Great Charles Street, Wallace and Gromit are welcoming anyone coming into the city via the Queensway tunnel.

Made out of over 10,000 individual plants on two meter high fibreglass frames, the duo are part of the City Centre Floral Trail, Birmingham's entry into the National Britain is Bloom competition.

The environmentally friendly contest, run by the Royal Horticultural Society, encourages local communities to make positive improvements to their landscapes by all manner of floral features.
