Clothes Show Live - the world's largest fashion and beauty event is at Birmingham's NEC from 1-6 December 2006.

If you love fashion, beauty, celebs, catwalk shows, music and shopping then this show is a must-see. Over 350 fashion, hair and beauty companies exhibit at Clothes Show Live every year.

Celeb-spotting

Duncan James, Dave Berry (MTV), June Sarpong, Brendan Courtney, Caryn Franklin and Hilary Alexander are just some of the names to be seen in the Fashion Theatre.

If that's not enough celeb action for you, there's also Simon Webbe, Caprice and Calum Best, as well as the models from 'Make me a Supermodel' TV show.

Get into the zone

The Clothes Show is split into distinct zones to make it easier for you to head straight to your favourite fashion haven:

Leave chav-dom behind and head to the Blue Zone for designer, high street, vintage and boutique fashion.  There's also a designer forum for those with more cash to splash, and a vintage fair for unusual, unique items.

Want to look a million dollars without it costing the earth? Head for the Red Zone which is filled with unusual items and bargain fashion accessories. The Pink Zone is all about hair beauty and make-up.

If urban street style is your thing, then the Purple Zone is for you. This is also the place to strut your model good looks as Select Model Management scouts will be patrolling.

Model Scouts

Model scout Dounia at Select was out looking for the hottest male talent: "We're looking for a guy with a bit of an edge.

"We've had fantastic success scouting models here at the Clothes Show who've gone on to do Calvin Klein, D&G, Dior and editorials like Italian Vogue.  They make money, they travel the world and have the time of their lives."

Fred from Stoke has been scouted two years in a row.  "It's pretty exciting, I've been having some pictures taken."

Also spotted out in the Bullring were 17-year-old Lizzie Bolton from Sutton and 22-year-old Amy Cashmore from Solihull.

Both girls were picked up by Clothes Show fashion scouts for being the best dressed Brummies for the Clothes Show's 'Dress up Friday' day.

The girls were whisked off to the catwalk at the Clothes Show and introduced to an audience of 4000 as being super-hot fashionistas by host Caryn Franklin.
