Music Fo Yo Soul!

South Birmingham College will be hosting music workshops (free for under 18’s) and a concert headlined by progressive gospel trio Siani.

‘Music Fo Yo Soul’ is the name given to a day of music workshops, and a concert starring local musical talent, all to be held on Saturday 7th October 2006. The event is organised by the Birmingham based Daleybread Productions.

The professional musicians running the workshops include; Genevieve (vocals), Paul Reid (guitar), Donavan Hepburn (drums), Drew Campbell (bass guitar) and Peter Daley (keyboards). On the bill for the concert are Siani, Genevieve, Patrick and Rebecca Linton, Shoa and Nathan Henry. The host is Dave P from Choice FM.

Registration for the workshops is at 10.30am on Saturday 7th October. Tickets for the workshops are free for the under 18’s and £5 for adults. Doors open for the concert at 7pm, tickets cost £5 for under 18’s, and £8 for adults. Venue: South Birmingham College, Digbeth High Street, Digbeth, Birmingham, B5 5SU.

"Some of the facilitators are high profile musicians who are from Birmingham and have played with world class acts which will be a good role model for the youth.
