Jenny Wilkes, or "Wilkesy" to her friends, was born and bred in Dudley. She is "Events and Promotions Manager " for BBC WM, and is responsible for organising all of the station's outside broadcasts and events.

Jenny is a well-known voice throughout the West Midlands having presented many shows on BBC WM over the years.

During her time with the BBC she has worked at Radio Five Live, co-presenting the Drivetime Show and has also worked for the BBC Exhibitions Unit as a stage presenter. Jenny has also presented several series for BBC Midlands Today.

Jenny is a huge Soul and Motown fan and presents "The Soul & Motown Show" on BBC WM every Friday night between 7pm and 9pm. If you like classic Motown, Soul and Northern Soul then don't miss her show.

Jenny is a Wolves fan through and through, having followed the club since she was 10 years old. She is President of Wolverhampton Wanderers Official Supporter's Club and Chairperson of Wolverhampton Wanderers Women's Football Club.

Wolves Women play their home games at Goodrich Sports Stadium, Stafford Road in Wolverhampton on Sunday afternoons, 2.30pm kick-off. Why not check them out? If you meet Jenny in the bar after the game she might even buy you a pint!
