The parade will then wound its way down to the Birmingham Gay Village, where the party got started. Parade RouteBeginning at Victoria Square at 6pm, the Carnival Parade followed a route along New Street and into High Street, then turned right into Carrs Lane, right again into Moor Street and along Queensway before turning left into Hurst Street. ![]() Friends at Pride The Street Festival Sat 28th - Mon 30th MayThe Pride event also included a Street Festival, boasting numerous gay and lesbian stalls, more funfair rides than ever before, street entertainers, a dance tent and mini-stage arenas featuring live acts and DJs. The Village Green Sat 28th / Mon 30th MayThe Village Green has become a very successful feature over the years, and once again featured on both Sunday and Monday. On Sunday there were community - focused activities like the Dog Show, Pets Parade, Tug of War and Musical Chairs, along with various other community games and community stalls.
