When we visited the Birmingham International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Temple, at 84 Stanmore Road, the Temple was celebrating Holi, the Hindu Festival.
We asked Mohan Nandi, Temple Secretary, to speak to us about their 'Non Stop Kirtan'. Click the link on the top right of this page to see the short video >>

"The 'Non Stop Kirtan' is actually celebrating our 6th Anniversary of our Deities Sri Sri Gaura Nitai who are non different from Lord Krishna and Balaram." says Mohan. "It's the only 24 hour's Vedic music festival in this country - we have been organising it for the past six years." "There are international guests coming, as well as instruments being played such as flute, mrdanga (similar to a drum), kartals (cymbals), harmonian (similar to a piano), african drums and more.
