How to Listen

Digital Radio

Big Toe Books is on BBC 7. You can find BBC 7 on digital radio

You'll need a new radio (costing from £40) to receive DAB digital radio. DAB means 'digital audio broadcasting' and if your radio doesn't have the DAB logo on it, it won't be able to decode the digital signals. FM/AM radios (known as analogue radios) often have a digital display or tuner but this isn't the same as DAB and they won't be able to pick up the show. You can buy DAB digital radio sets at hi-fi shops and car audio dealers, high street retailers and department stores. For more information see the BBC Digital Radio website.

DAB digital coverage

BBC national digital radio transmitters cover nearly 85% of the UK population. Local stations are increasingly available via digital radio as well. For more coverage information please see the BBC Digital Radio website.
