Eve Bunting has written lots of books for children and young adults of all ages. Many of her stories talk about difficult issues like racism, poverty and war.

Eve was born in 1928 and grew up in Northern Ireland. She moved to the USA in 1958 and still lives there today.

In her spare time, she likes reading and playing golf.
