Betty G. Birney is the author of the popular According to Humphrey books.
In the United States, her books have won nine children’s choice awards, including seven state awards, as well as two Children’s Crown Awards and a Christopher Award.
Betty also wrote Adventure According to Humphrey, a special World Book Day book for 2008. Her books are also being published in Japan, Germany, Hungary and Belgium.
In addition to writing books for children, she has written over 200 episodes of children’s television shows and has won loads of awards for them.
