Precipitation (which means anything that falls from the sky) is represented by the blue areas showing rainfall. Inreasing amounts of rainfall are shown by green colours and in extreme cases red, while white areas show snowfall.

The wind chart shows the expected wind profile at lunchtime on the day shown. The size of the arrows only gives an indication of the wind strength and the wind direction is shown by the orientation of the arrows.
