We
thought it would be a great idea to map out a walk that stretches
the entire way across Berkshire, and call it The Berkshire Way.
It
means you can take a walk across any part of the county, and rest
assured you'll cross some fantastic countryside.
We
give you...
* A
detailed description of the walk - we have walked all 14 routes
and can tell you about the terrain, distance and things to look
out for.
* Handy
maps in the left hand box of every page to help you on your way.
When you open the maps, it's best to set the size to 'Fit in window'.
* Facts
about the location in which you are walking in the left hand box.
* Useful
weblinks to tell you more about the area.
The
walks are not circular, as the idea was to create a route going
across the county. This means you may need to be ultra-organised
and park a car at the start and a car at the finish.
