On
Tuesday April 27 South Africa celebrates 10 years of democracy.
BBC Radio Berkshire and six local schools have launched a project
to help provide a congratulatory meal to a deprived school in South
Africa.
Our
reporter Karnagie Sharp is in South Africa to help get the project
off the ground.

On
Tuesday April 27 South Africa celebrates 10 years of democracy.
BBC
Radio Berkshire and five schools in the county have launched a project
to help provide a congratulatory meal to a deprived school in South
Africa.
The
schools are:
Slough Grammar school
Westgate
Secondary Modern school, Slough
Windsor Boys school
Highdown School, Emmer Green
Blessed
Hugh Farringdon School, Southcote
Kendrick Girls School in Reading.
Each
school will raise £100 to help pay for a meal for 1200 children
at Nondhlevu Secondary in Kwa-Zulu Natal.
The meal
will be presented to the Secondary school on the Thursday April 15
as a gesture of congratulations from BBC Radio Berkshire and the five
Berkshire schools to young adults celebrating democracy.
