I was forwarded an e-mail this morning about the violinist chosen to perform next to David Beckham at the Olympic handover ceremony in Beijing. Her name is Elspeth Hanson and she just so happens to be a Berkshire lass. ![]() Becks and Elspeth Hanson (right) This is right up my street, and I’m really excited to have the chance to speak to a classical musician. Booking a phone interview with her was no problem, and she was a wonderful interviewee. I spent the afternoon putting an article together and listening back to her story of the Beijing ceremony.
