Now they're returning to Reading to play at Plug 'n' Play - the replacement gig venue following the closure of the Fez Club.

Late Of The Pier formed in 2004.

They started off by  releasing their bedroom recordings free of charge via their MySpace page.

Their debut single, Space And The Woods, was released through Way Out West Records in March 2007 and was limited to 500 copies only.

Their second single, Bathroom Gurgle, was produced by Erol Alkan and released in September 2007 by Moshi Moshi Records. Like their previous release, this was also limited to 500 copies.

They are currently recording their as-yet untitled debut album, which will be released by Parlophone in early 2008.
