Planning anything for Children In Need 2008?

This year's Children in Need is taking place on Friday 14 November. It will be raising vital funds for disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. Are you planning any events in Berkshire to raise money? Let us know here!

See what local fundraisers are doing for Children in Need in 2008:

At the starting line

Pupils on the starting line at Aldermaston

In recent years Children in Need fundraisers have got up to all sorts of crazy antics - from chaining themselves to a friend for the day to sponsored silences...

In 2007, pupils from Aldermaston Primary School raced round their school field in aid of Children in Need.

Earlier that year the field had been flooded. BBC Berkshire's Maggie Philbin visited them to kick off their great Aldermaston Primary Lapathon.

Also in 2007, a host of Berkshire sports people and sports teams clubbed together to raise money. They held a variety of events across the county which included a 24 hour golf session at Stoke Park Golf Club and Slough Jets putting on their special performance of YMCA.

This year we'd like you to continue sending us your plans for Children In Need, whether it's a group effort in your office, an event at your school or you're raising money on your own.

Simply fill in this form below with your name and your fundraising plans and we'll post them up on the BBC Berkshire website.
