And - in a final period that started quietly before thundering into life - the Jets were still leading by three by the halfway mark, the score 7-4. But the Flames found a fifth goal before, in a staggering final phase, short-handed Guildford produced the ice hockey of their lives: Jozef Kohut scoring twice despite Slough's man advantage to take the game into overtime. ![]() Jets score (C) Simon Curtis With the deadlock unbroken the game went to penalty shots. Ciccarello scored for the Jets but Emersic and Chinn missed, leaving Guildford's Vaclav Zavoral to wrap up an astonishing Flames victory. Audio and Video links on this page require Realplayer "We deserved to win this game," Slough coach Steve Moria told BBC Berkshire afterwards. "It's just a matter of four, five or six minutes where we just relaxed - in a game where you can't relax, ever. "When it got to 7-4 it was like, 'We've won the game', which you can never think. It's unbelievable what happened." Moria, whose Jets supported the recent move for league games to be decided by a shootout, might just be regretting that now. "It was a great game of hockey, everyone loved it and it came down to the scenario everyone hates, the shootout.
