Penny Cottrell

Penny came to visit the Royal County of Berkshire Show and hopped on the BBC Bus to create her very own web page! Find out what she had to say below...

My name is Penny Cottrell, aka "the mad Akela from Sonning Common"!

Today I have visited the Royal County of Berkshire Show. The really great thing I have seen is the Radio Berkshire bus - it proved very useful and interesting for seeing how the radio is produced and seeing all the people we hear and never see. Wow: Jim Cathcart and Tim Dellor are great!

The highland cattle are really cute, the other animals are really well cared for and all the people who say it's cruel for the chickens to be kept in the cages are really wrong.
