If you're heading to the Royal County of Berkshire show (more commonly known as the Newbury show), then you may discover a new talent if you visit BBC Radio Berkshire's special media marquee. Anything we can do, YOU can do better
 | | Dani Sinha will be there on Saturday |
If you listen to Radio Berkshire or watch South Today or sample our Where I Live websites, you may, from time to time, think "hey, I could do that so much better". Well, here's your chance. At the Newbury Show this coming weekend we'll be running (from a very large tent!) a radio studio and TV suite for you to have a go at making your own programme. You can present, produce or operate news and sport bulletins for TV or radio. Radio Berkshire's Nicki Whiteman and South Today's Dani Sinha will pop in on Saturday, while Sunday is the day to come visit us if you want a helping hand from Radio Berkshire's Andrew Peach and South Today's Allen Sinclair and Joe Campbell.

You can also have a go at doing a sports commentary, helped by our very own top sports commentary team. On top of that, Ollie Williams from the online team will be on hand to show you how to write stories for bbc.co.uk. So come and meet us - and find out just how easy this broadcasting lark really is… money for old rope some might say! |
