The Newbury Show, or the Royal County of Berkshire show, as it's officially called, is going to be yet another weekend filled with the best in rural and equestrian entertainment.

The weekend holds national show jumping competitions across the course of the two days. Some of the country’s best riders will be competing so come and cheer them on.

Come visit the BBC Berkshire team at their special media marquee! You can learn how to present, produce or operate news and sport bulletins for TV or radio. Find out more here:

In the 'country' area of the show, you will find a whole wealth of entertainment and activities.

These include animal displays with numerous types of animals from the weird and wonderful such as wolves and snakes to the traditional such as ferrets and falcons.

There are also rural crafts displays such as basket making, hedge laying, pole climbing and stick making.

There is also a food fare, a horticultural tent, a four-wheel drive ride, a crafts marquee and lots of children's activities, including a fun fair.

This year the show also features the Musical Drive of the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery - one of the most exciting and spectacular displays of horsemanship in the world performed at the gallop.

Other highlights include:
