Stefan Booth INTERVIEW

The Dancing on Ice star, who is from Aldermaston, came into the BBC Radio Berkshire studios after finishing runner-up in the competition last weekend. He chatted to Henry Kelly...

On ice skating...

"It's a funny thing because it started off as a job but ended up as this passionate thing that I really wanted to do.

"When I was younger I did go up to Bracknell ice rink with my dad and brother...I kind of stayed at the pre-evolution stage where you're just bent over double trying not to fall.

"I was a biker so I wore my leathers on the ice to start with!"

On his work for World Vision...

"Africa is an ongoing problem. There's also the issue of Aids, as well as poverty and drought.

"World Vision work hand in hand with the politics of the country...it's all about raising awareness.

"When people give their money, they want to know where it goes."
