Biffy Clyro at BukandSkit Fest 2004
Biffy Clyro at BukandSkit Fest 2004

BukandSkit Festival

Find out details of this popular rock festival based at the Reading Abbey Rugby Club. On the bill are, among others, Biffy Clyro, Sikth, Skindred, Oceansize, Million Dead and Reuben.

The second Bukandskit Fest, located at Reading’s Abbey Road Rugby Club in Emmer Green, is kicking off on Sunday 19 June. Biffy Clyro are returning to headline a stellar line-up of both big UK bands, including Capdown, Raging Speedhorn, and bands from Berkshire’s underground scene.

Other great bands on the main stage include Sikth, Skindred, Oceansize, Million Dead, Reuben, Twin Zero and Bukandskit battle of the band winners Exit Ten. The second stage will be headlined by ThisGirl, with support from Eden Maine and a whole host of unsigned bands.

The promoters, brothers Jon and David Nash, have come a long, long way since promoting gigs for Jon’s band Dr Sid and other local Maidenhead bands. A huge underground music scene was created from nothing and the boys had plans for a bright future. They now spend their days hosting some of the best shows in Berkshire in Reading and are helping promote Reading bands through their website.
