Morning Runner will be jogging home for the night when they play the Fez Club in Gun Street, Reading.

The new buzz band from Reading have signed to Parlophone and have already been out supporting Athlete and Ian Brown.  Plus they have blagged the support on the UK summer outdoor Coldplay shows!

They have been likened to an edgier Coldplay and have been named as one of The Guardian’s bands to watch for 2005. Morning Runner deliver a racy blend of indie pop and rolling rock, topped off with frontman Matt Greener’s distinctive raspy voice.

Relentless gigging around the country has given them a growing following - catch them now while you can.

Support act The Race are hot on Morning Runner's heels in the success stakes,  making history as the first unsigned band to be asked to do a live session on BBC 6Music. This will be Gideon Coe's show on Wednesday April 27th between 10am and 1pm.

"An unapologetic, impassioned and impressive call to arms.. transports you
away from the drabness of four walls...positively sparkles" Drowned In Sound

"It’s rare to see such a beautifully-balanced set, where everything’s played
for a reason and everything’s just… right, and seems effortless; it’s hard
to describe, but impossible not to recognise and respond to when you see
it." GIITTV Zine
