Beverley has experience working as an economist in economic research units and with the consultancy arm of a global accountancy firm. She also has experience in attracting funding to further and higher education, working closely with the local community and funding bodies. She has furthered her interest in education, becoming the Chair of the Board of Governors for a local nursery school. A role that, as well as the normal responsibilities of governorship, includes working on a project to develop a lasting infrastructure for education in the area.
Beverley has a BA Hons Degree in Business Studies from the University of Ulster and a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Beverley enjoys the arts, especially visual arts and literature, but with a young family, her main activities include pilates, body boarding in the North Sea and acting as a taxi to and from a variety of sports and social activities.
