Thelma Holland - Audience Council England member, South West

An experienced Chief Executive, Thelma has worked for a number of different health organisations, including the South West Peninsula Strategic Health Authority and Nottingham City Hospital, before becoming an independent management consultant several years ago.

She is currently a non-executive member of the Olympic and Paralympic Health Board and is chairing the Lizard 'Relay for Life' for Cancer Research UK.

Thelma has experience of the BBC's accountability system, and was the chair of the East Midlands RAC and the South West RAC prior to re-organisation and the formation of the BBC Trust.

Her interests include sailing and theatre.
