Trust assessment of 'Canvas' proposals - revised governance and cost information

On 30 October 2009, the BBC Executive submitted revised governance proposals in respect of its application to the Trust to assess project Canvas.

The new governance proposals have been prepared by the Executive in response to concerns raised during the first consultation.

In addition, on 03 November 2009, the Executive submitted revised cost information, which we are publishing alongside revised governance proposals. This includes background information and the latest estimated cost to be borne by the BBC and its partners.

Given the specific nature of this change, which does not affect other aspects of the Canvas proposal, we offered a short period for responses; this ended on 18 November 2009.

There will be a further opportunity to comment on both governance structure and costs as part of our forthcoming consultation on preliminary conclusions.
