Strategy review - Putting Quality First

In July 2009 the Trust asked the BBC Executive to undertake a full-scale review of the BBC's strategy, to help determine the future direction of the corporation. In March 2010, the Trust published the BBC Executive's proposals. We launched a consultation on these and published our initial conclusions in July 2010, followed by our final strategy for the BBC, together with supporting analysis and research, in December 2010.

Global strategy

As part of the broader review of BBC strategy, the Trust requested that the BBC Executive draw up strategic proposals for how the corporation could best fulfil its global role. The Trust subsequently approved the strategy, an overview of which is published here.
