Fair trading appeals findings

Since December 2011, appeals about fair trading have been considered by the Complaints and Appeals Board.

The BBC Trust hears fair trading appeals as necessary and publishes here reports of the appeals it has considered. Some fair trading appeals raise issues of commercial sensitivity that may make full disclosure inappropriate. The Trust will always consult complainants about publication in these circumstances.

March 2010

On 08 October 2009, the Trust partially upheld a fair trading complaint against the BBC Executive from the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA).
