Getting the best out of the BBC for licence fee payers
Tell us what you think about BBC Television
You have high expectations of the BBC - you trust it to make brilliant programmes; to maintain the highest standards of distinctive, independent broadcasting; to offer everyone something they will love; and to do things that others can’t or won’t attempt.
At the BBC Trust it’s our responsibility to get the best out of the BBC for licence fee payers. One of the ways we do this is by carrying out an in-depth review of each of the BBC’s services at least once every five years. This time we are looking at BBC Television. We’re focussing on BBC One, BBC Two and BBC Four. We’ve already reviewed BBC Three as part of our work on the BBC’s services for younger audiences, and CBBC and CBeebies when we looked at services for children. We’ll be looking at the BBC News Channel and BBC Parliament in the future.
As part of our review, we’re asking people what they think about BBC One, BBC Two and BBC Four. What do you like, what do you dislike and what should the BBC do to make these television channels better for you?
