Suzanna Taverne, Trustee
"The BBC provides the forum for the 'national conversation' and plays a central part in the growth of our creative industries. Our work as Trustees is to safeguard for licence fee payers the BBC's role as a trusted broadcaster and the pride we all feel for it. We need to ensure that the BBC remains engaging, distinctive and relevant when our homes are filled with multiple screens."
