2010 licence fee settlement
On 21 October 2010 the BBC agreed a new licence fee settlement.
The settlement was reflected in an exchange of letters between the Chairman of the Trust and the Secretary of State. These letters can be found here:
Licence fee settlement negotiations
The licence fee settlement was negotiated over a short period of time and agreed with the Government on 21 October 2010. This happened in parallel with the Government's Comprehensive Spending Review.
