We asked Europeans what they really think of the UK

It’s been a week since the UK triggered Article 50 and, so far, much of the debate has focused on what Britons think of Europe. But what do Europeans make of the UK - these weird, overcast, idiosyncratic isles, where everyone drives on the wrong side of the road and you have to have a degree in sarcasm to understand anyone?

Well, we asked some of them. Eight young people from around the continent, who are all living in the UK, shared the things that strike them as the most beguiling and bemusing aspects of British culture.
