How good to have another series of Spiral back on our screens: a gritty, realistic, fast moving storyline where the police/legal system really struggle against heavy odds and do not always win.

Fantastic! Well done BBC Four for bringing us the second series of this fantastic drama. Looking forward to the rest of this series and a speedy airing of the third series.

Yay! Finally Spiral II gets a screening! Sunday nights have something to look forward to again (well, for eight weeks anyway). Merci Beaucoup!

I only decided to look at the first episode because I enjoy foreign films and although this isn't the genre that I normally watch I very quickly got hooked on this very fast moving drama. The characters are so ordinary and real to life that they don't give me the impression they are actors. I am looking forward to the next episode.

Smashing to have the second series underway. We saw part of an episode in France ages ago. Fascinating at several levels, particularly given the very different French legal system. The only problem is the names of the characters as we do not "listen" to the cast talking but watch the subtitles.

I really enjoyed this programme - it is an absolutely perfect opportunity to improve my French in an up-to-date, modern way and I can't wait to see the whole series. I have told all my friends about it. Let's have more of the same!

Wonderful to have it back again with season two! This is one of the most compelling drama series I have ever seen. Brilliant stories, great acting, it is the best of the best in TV.

Spiral is simply brilliant. I don't speak French but the subtitles are OK and I just can't wait for the next episode. I am on the edge of my seat throughout because the tension is built up via the plot and not by relying on gory visuals. Wallander and now Spiral - well done BBC Four.

Absolutely brilliant - what a splendid way of improving my French and knowledge of France and its legal system. The stories are more realistic (getting fed up of the slick US TV cops) and seem on a par with Wallander - real people in real situations. Thank you and more of the same please! (Especially if Gregory Fitoussi is in it - phwor!)

Last night's episode had me biting my nails and on the edge of the couch. This is perhaps the best cop series I have ever seen. The acting is superb, you can feel the sexual tension between Laure and Samy... the suspense is fantastique!

As someone who actively looked forward to the second series of Spiral, and despite other comments that I have read, I must say that I am disappointed with it. The first series seemed so much more multi-layered and subtle while the second is little more than an overtly violent cops and underworld gang story. Nevertheless I shall stick with it in hope of better things.

Absolutely superb. It makes American cop shows look juvenile. Fantastic acting with twists and turns in the storyline. It makes Sunday night viewing something to look forward to.

Spiral is unquestionably the best thing on TV right now - it's up there with the best of the HBO offerings for the best cop/crime show ever.

Totally addicted, something really fresh from somewhere else. Keep these connections going, I can't wait for Spiral 3.

Thank you for showing this superb drama - a great series, and last night's final episode was so gripping I nearly slid off my sofa. I haven't seen Series One yet so hopefully you may repeat that soon.

Great series. It became a "must watch" on Sunday nights. A far better thriller than anything being currently produced on UK or US television. Hope that there is another series to come.

The best TV show on television at the moment by far. So good in fact, it makes me want to learn French, in time for Season 3, so I don't miss the action whilst reading the subtitles!

Really enjoyed this, although not quite as dark as the first series. Hope it's not too long a wait to the series three! Compliments generally on showing European thrillers in the original versions, love Wallander as well.

A friend told me about Spiral, thanks to the BBC iPlayer I was able to catch up with the episodes. I was glued to the TV, could not wait for the next episode. Between this and Wallander, great series! Thank you BBC Four.

A brilliant series giving us another take on police crime dramas. It is interesting to see the French police and legal systems in operation. Subtitles? No problem. I'm looking foward to series three.

Fell into watching Spiral by accident and was totally rivetted. Wonderfully directed, acted and everything else. Lots of violence but they stop before it gets too sickening! Well done BBC Four, and please can we have some more of the same.

Only caught this a few times but is now a must see. Simply the best thing on TV at present. Fantastic programming last night, two back to back episodes followed by the excellent French film '36'. Please keep showing foreign language films and drama.

Magnifique! A belter of a detective series. Both series one and two were realistic and absolutely gripping.

The best cop show ever on TV. The acting - the plots have you wanting more. Thank you for this fantastic series.

It's like The Wire but with a Gallic flavour and a darker edge. It also provides a fascinating insight into the radically different French legal/police system, as well as a good opportunity to get to grips with Parisian street French.
