I really loved this anarchic, antipodean, comic show. I haven't laughed so much since One Foot in the Grave was a current series. I hope the rest of the series is as good.
Frederick Thompson, RomfordThe Chaser's War on Everything is brilliantly funny, just the thing for BBC Four.
Tony Wake, LondonThis is utter rubbish. Why are the BBC wasting money acquiring programs like this? its not thought provoking or even remotely funny.
Tom, LondonBring back Cowards! I first stumbled across them accidentally on the radio and was immediately hooked, I couldn't get enough. Imagine my joy when I found they also produced a TV show. I watched all of them four times over and I had to share it with everyone I knew. Unfortunately it didn't last long enough for them to catch it, nor was it on the iPlayer for that long. Cowards was a very refreshing change and my favourite comedy sketch show of the decade without a doubt. It is such a shame that not enough people know about it because I believe it would be a big hit. Please bring back Cowards!
Abi Mullin, BirminghamI loved this programme, I hope more than three episodes are made. Fantastically directed and written and the characters were perfectly played!
Edward Cannon, WorksopThis is the funniest programme we have watched in 40 years of TV viewing. Well done Jo and co, we laughed from beginning to the end. All actors and writers deserve awards for this piece of work.
Sheena and Lynne, FlintshireI am just watching this programme, and am literally crying laughing. Jo Brand is absolutely brilliant as the nurse, and so is the lady doctor. This is rather typical of an inept NHS Ward although exaggerated of course. Hope the series lives up to this first episode.
Lynn Dalton, StockportWhat a stroke of genius. As a practicing nurse of 15 years I have seen it all. Only a nurse could have written such an disturbingly accurate portrayal of ward life. It made me laugh out loud and then feel deeply moved that only someone with insight into the environment could feel. Jo Brand has hit the nail on the head with this drama/comedy. So many egos, motivations and priorities, what a nightmare. I hope they will use this in training to show how corruption can creep in and how disingenuous people can come across. Much enjoyed programme. Looking forward to more.
Rachel, NorthamptonI have never commented on a TV programme before, but felt that I had to comment on Getting On from BBC 4. I cannot wait for next week's ep, it was one of the funniest comedies I have seen in years. I adore Jo Brand and my husband and I laughed all the way through it. Its 'Office' documentary style made it easy to watch and all the characters were instantly likeable. I am sad that there are only three eps, I hope and pray there will be many, many more!
Clare Argent, WarringtonThe filming and commentary flowed so well and Ian Batten came over as a really nice person. The grandchildren were delightful and their interviews were so very natural. Nothing flash here - the people who made the programme were not trying to show off.
Anthony Easom, ScarboroughI thought Henry had been done to death by average programmes about him, but this intelligent and sophisticated programme was a delight. Now can we have the same attention given to some other monarchs?
Laura, EdinburghI just wanted to congratulate you on the outstanding recent series of three programmes on Iran and its relations with the world. Fascinating and revelatory content, in a narrative superbly constructed. I just find myself wondering how you managed to get all the contributors to take part. Presumably they all just wanted us to know and understand the truth as they saw it.
Venetia Caine, Poitiers, FranceA first rate, fascinating, and important programme. It should be available on DVD. Please repeat it.
Tom Kennedy, Co DurhamIran and the West was outstanding. I wanted to educate myself on the recent history of Iran, but I thought watching would be a chore. Instead, the three programmes were gripping and informative. The BBC had access to the key players who, separately, recalled the to and fro of discussions that made up negotiations between the west and Iran. Some of these people are involved now in the political tussle currently going on in Iran. Absolutely top notch!
Jean Prince, HeydonLoved it - except for the soundtrack, which was extremely irritating! Thank you for helping to make the Pre-Raphaelites so accessible. I've studied them at length, but I still enjoyed this very insightful production - particularly with the various knowledgeable presenters. It's important to view innovations within the context of their times. The mid-Victorian era was about to undergo such enormous changes as scientific thought impacted on religious belief, and the PRB were right there at the start of it - modern and challenging.
Christina Relf, WinchesterBBC Four is the finest channel now available on British television. However, this otherwise superb programme was ruined by almost non-stop gongs and bells. There have been other programmes of late where the "musical" background has been horribly intrusive. Is that what is being taught in the TV production schools today?
David Frith, GuildfordAbsolutely perfect! Everything from the choice of music to production. Love the way modern examples are intercut with the historical aspects and of course the whole romance of the subject is also given consideration - brilliant work.
Kelvin Hayes, OxfordThank you so much for this programme, it was superb. As one of modest means but a lover of the classical music, I could only dream of being one of the audience at that concert. Thanks to the BBC you transported me on a wonderful tour in and around the Palace and Vienna whilst listening to some wonderful music. The camera work was fantastic, the music was superb, the encore added to the enjoyment of the whole concert. I felt as though I was really there. Thank you very much for taking me, and please give us more of this type of programme.
Brenda Linnett, KesgraveThe Swedish Wallander is superb, if raw and brutal. Please show the rest of the episodes. I did not find the Branagh version engaging, but the original is... I'm hooked.
Gail, GallowayPlease say that the wonderful BBC Four will show the Swedish series in its entirety. I have been waiting since these two episodes were last shown and am desperate to see the rest. They really are as sublime as I was told they would be.
Saida Khanom, LondonThis is an outstanding series, although less atmospheric than the English version. Well done the BBC for not being scared of subtitles. I hope the high standard continues.
Matt Helm, Stratford-upon-AvonThank you so much for showing the Swedish Wallander episodes and for making them available on BBC iPlayer. Top quality drama - more of this please!

Andrew Smith only scratched the surface of finding out about the real man and his motivation. What of Neil Armstrong's first wife's tragic death seven years before Apollo 11, coupled with the earlier death of one of his children at a very young age?
Disappointed the programme chose only to explore the 'no autograph' and 'hair on eBay' stories, and also that Andrew Smith didn't challenge the barber at all about his abuse of position in selling on the hair. Sadly I feel no more enlightened about what the core of the man was.
