Kate Blewett's updated documentary on the plight of these abandoned and disabled chldren was both difficult to watch, yet heart-warming. I cried when I saw Vasky in her new home. She is obviously well cared for now and the change in her is remarkable. A well made and informative documentary.
Caroline Campbell, N. IrelandFound it by accident. Really enjoyed the prog - thought-provoking theories and loads of fun around it. Long may this programme run - I'll be tuning in!
Malcolm Wallace, ManchesterLove it! Love it! Love it! Saw an episode for the first time tonight... in fact I'm still watching it! It is informative and entertaining, and I really enjoy the chemistry between the judging panel.
Rachel Goodwin, MonmouthshireHaving thoroughly enjoyed all six programmes of the Leeds Piano Contest and, in the process, got a little acquainted with the participants, it was disappointing not to be granted a brief interview with the successful players. Certainly a brief chat with the winner would have been highly rewarding and would have finished off the series in a worthy and satisfatory manner instead of having the feeling that we were hassled out of the concert hall.
Graham Thomas, LiverpoolLast night's episode spoilt by inappropriate 'wind-up' music before each of the announcements of the winners. This isn't Strictly!
Geoffrey Kinder, BradfordSincere thanks to the BBC for repeating this quite amazing promenade concert from this summer season. Amidst all the current gloom and doom, what delight to have over two hours of sheer joy and pleasure. John Wilson did a nigh miraculous job in assembling such talent to reproduce the sound of the MGM musicals, using his own painstakingly produced scores, having discovered the originals had been destroyed. This concert can't have failed to thrill countless television audiences. How I would love to see it again!
Geoff Mackenzie, StaffordCongratulations on Friday's repeat of the Proms 2009, and to John Wilson and his brilliant musicians and singers for a wonderful feast of sensitive, melodious and foot tapping music - such a rarity in this age of melodic famine. I have never seen such a hardworking orchestra and obviously so happy producing their magnificent sound. I must add that if we had more of these types of programmes I would never again complain about paying my TV licence.
Derek Sanderson, FalkirkThank you for showing this excellent programme. It is important to remember that there is so much more to the arts world than the dismal antics of talentless pop "stars".
John Clough, RochdaleTotally addicted, something really fresh from somewhere else. Keep these connections going, I can't wait for Spiral 3.
Jerry Fryman, Ledbury, HerefordshireThank you for showing this superb drama - a great series, and last night's final episode was so gripping I nearly slid off my sofa. I haven't seen Series One yet so hopefully you may repeat that soon.
Maximus, LondonGreat series. It became a "must watch" on Sunday nights. A far better thriller than anything being currently produced on UK or US television. Hope that there is another series to come.
Alan Douglas, GlasgowThe best TV show on television at the moment by far. So good in fact, it makes me want to learn French, in time for Season 3, so I don't miss the action whilst reading the subtitles!
Lee Taylor, ColchesterJust wanted to add my praise (and thanks) to the BBC for showing the Swedish version of Wallander. Although the Branagh version introduced me to the books; I don't feel that his portrayal is quite right.
Una Gillham, ManchesterThe Swedish Wallander is superb and Henriksson is Wallander. Full marks to BBC Four.
Tony Bates, KentI've come to the Swedish version a bit late but the episodes that we've seen have been some of the best TV that we've watched this year. This is about real people in real situations. They are a sensitive presentation of Swedish cultural attitudes as well as being top rate detective stories.
Mazari, GloucesterCan I compliment you on showing this show. Even though in Swedish and subtitled I am hooked. I caught it halfway through the last run and am now catching up on the episodes I missed. I believe this is the type of show that only the BBC can show and makes me proud.

This programme had a profound effect on me - to see the abuse and neglect of children in this day and age was truly shocking. My hat goes off to Kate Blewett for her efforts in uncovering this horror. It showed that the people treating those with so called 'disabilities' had in fact considerable disabilities of their own in their inhumane lack of compassion. I think it was Mother Teresa who said, 'by healing other people's wounds you heal yourself'.
